  1. Sediakan Fried fish.
  2. Anda mesti 8 of Ikan Kembung.

  5. Anda mesti One and half tablespoon of corn flour (Optional).
  6. Anda mesti Sambal Yogurt.
  7. Anda mesti One big red onion*.
  8. Sediakan 5 cloves of Garlics*.
  9. Untuk menyediakan 5 Bird's eyes chillies*.
  10. Sediakan One big tomatoes.
  11. Anda mesti Four tablespoons of chilli paste.
  12. Sediakan 5 tablespoons of Plain Yogurt.
  13. Sediakan 1 lemon (juice) / (can substitute with tamarind juice) (optional.
  14. Anda mesti Two tablespoons of oil.
  15. Sediakan 100 ml of water.
  16. Sediakan Salt.

Langkah demi langkah Untuk memasak Ikan Kembung Sambal Yogurt 🐟

  1. Marinate the fish with tumeric powder and salt. Near to cooking, coat the fishes with the corn flour. Just a light coating. It is optional to use corn flour. You could just fry the fish with the tumeric marination..
  2. Ingredients with this symbol * has to be lightly crushed using 'batu lesung'. We want a rough texture of the ingredients.. You also could use blender to get the rough texture..
  3. Put oil in the pan (i reuse the same oil for frying fish) and fry the crushed ingredients. Fry till it smells nice..
  4. Put in the chilli paste and tomatoes and fry it till the oil separates and floats on the top of the paste (pecah minyak). Once the oil is floating, add in Water and keep stirring. Keep frying till the second 'Pecah Minyak' happens. Reason being, since we use yogurt (same like santan) in the recipe, we dont want the dish spoil faster 😁..
  5. After the second pecah minyak, add in the yogurt. Keep stirring so the yogurt is fully mix with the sambal paste. Then add in the lemon juice for sourish taste (This is optional. Can skip if you just want the sour taste from the yogurt). Add in salt as per your needed..
  6. Once paste and yogurt are incorporated with one another, put in the fried fishes. Mix them for a minute. Take it out and it is ready to be served 😁.
